There are certain snacks that we associate with certain types of people. These people have certain tastes for certain types of snacks. For example, if you’re the type of person that likes candy, you like Snickers, but if you’re the type of person that likes a good cheeseburger, you’re going to like the Double Down.
Snickers and Double Down aren’t the only snacks we associate with certain types of people. My wife has a thing for potato chips. I’ve also always loved chips and have a thing for them. I like a lot of things in the snack world so I’m not entirely sure why I like potato chips so much, but whatever.

I think the reason so many people fall victim to the same type of marketing is that it’s all just marketing. You buy something because your parents bought it and now it’s an expected thing that you need. You buy something because it’s on TV. You buy something because of what the ad says.
